Anchovy Linguini
serves 4
NOTE: The anchovies disappear, but add tremendous umami flavor. Don't tell your guests and they'll marvel at the taste.
Ingredients
- 1 lb linguini, cooked al dente
- 1 can anchovies
- 2 T butter
- 2 T olive oil
- 2 cl garlic, thin slice
- Parmigiano cheese, grated
Instructions
- Melt the anchovies into the butter and oil, then add the garlic and saute until fragrant. Season to taste.
- Toss the linguini in the sauce.
- Plate, garnish with cheese, and serve.
